This Copyright Lawsuit Could Shape the Future of Generative AI

Algorithms that create art, text, and code are spreading fast—but legal challenges could throw a wrench in the works.

Quote from above article: "...A class-action lawsuit filed in a federal court in California this month takes aim at GitHub Copilot, a powerful tool that automatically writes working code when a programmer starts typing. The coder behind the suit argues that GitHub is infringing copyright because it does not provide attribution when Copilot reproduces open-source code covered by a license requiring it. ..."

Inflation questions and answers via social media - 2022

It's interesting that we have high inflation specially in 2022.

Many try to explain via social media. I'll skip most "mass media outlets" and go to everyday people explaining it.

AOC: "Inflation is not going up due to government policies. Inflation is going up due to Wall Street decisions." Chris Hayes is nodding along even though he knows she is clueless. 🔈 sound … 😂

Telecommunication, digital companies and jobs

There are so many career choices and paths.

Most push for higher degrees and we see often on social media, those with degrees complaining and not satisfied with their education. However, there are many other choices. Let's touch upon technical careers.

I'll touch upon telecommunications. Here is the salary scale of telecommunications technicians.

https://www1.salary.com/Telecommunications-Technician-salaries.html

It's great to see the breakdown and description of each specialization. Most of the time you would see just the mention of the technical career, without much explanations. As if "you are supposed to know about it". A clear explanation is extremely useful for those not involved or familiar with that field.

Salary.com gives an amazing breakdown and explains it so clearly!

Note: I am not affiliated with salary.com, it's my personal opinion

Here is another source, with breakdown of telecommunications technician's salary scale:

Rapid-delivery startups boomed in Europe. Why couldn't they make it in the US? Analysts and industry experts said that while the ultra-fast delivery model was a hit in Europe, it neglected to consider Americans' shopping habits — like buying in bulk. Why the "ultrafasts" would never stick in the US.
