What is CCTV?
CCTV stands for "Closed Circuit TV" and is mainly used for security and surveillance applications. All security cameras are considered CCTV cameras, even PoE, coax and wireless cameras are consider CCTV cameras. This is because they do not broadcast their video feed to the general public. In other words their video feed is "closed circuit".

CCTV cameras and systems are used in residential and business environments. They are a cost effective way to deter crime, protect homes, provide family safety, protect assets, manage employees and monitor critical processes. Police and law enforcement rely on them heavily to solve crime and identify suspects. In fact they are so effective many cities now require a CCTV system to be installed in businesses before they will grant a business license, they are that effective!

The History of Cameras

The first documented use of surveillance cameras was in Soviet Russia during the Stalin era. In 1927, wireless video technology was used to monitor visitors to the Kremlin. In 1942, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) was first used in Germany. In 1949, the first commercially available CCTV systems were manufactured by an American company called Vericon.

A CCTV system is a video surveillance system that uses cameras to monitor and record activities in a specific area. Unlike broadcast television, the video is transmitted only to authorized monitors or recording devices.
Main components of a CCTV system
Cameras – Capture video (bullet, dome, PTZ, turret, etc.).
DVR/NVR – Records and stores video footage.
Hard Drive – Saves recorded videos.
Monitor – Displays live and recorded footage.
Power Supply – Provides electricity to the cameras.
Cables or Network Connection – Connects the cameras to the recorder.
Crime Prevention: Visible CCTV cameras discourage theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
24/7 Monitoring: CCTV systems can monitor an area continuously, day and night.
Provides Evidence: Recorded footage can be used as evidence during investigations or in court.
Enhances Security: Helps protect people, property, and valuable assets.
Remote Access: Many modern CCTV systems allow users to view live footage from anywhere using a smartphone or computer.
Employee Monitoring: Helps ensure employees follow workplace rules and maintain productivity.

Toka Group. Check out this company "from a certain country". They have the advanced tech to access any CCTV footage from any camera around the globe that is connected to the internet, and edit it live or change anything it has previously recorded through AI, all without leaving a trace they were there. Meaning they can frame anybody or alter things they don't want public. Classic "certain country"

So the capability is there to frame the innocent and erase evidence against those the system protects.
